Very Nice Art Deco Roseville Pottery Windsor Geometric Vase
This excellent piece from the Windsor collection features two handles, incised lime green and yellow geometric design below the rim and is finished in a lovely mottled blue matte glaze.
Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or crazing.
The Windsor collection was originally marked with paper labels and some pieces have hand-written shape numbers.
The bottom of this one has some of the original foil Roseville Pottery sticker intact and is signed 546 in crayon. (see photos)
Roseville’s elegant “Windsor” collection is a middle period line introduced in 1931.
The collection features sleek forms in the French art deco style decorated with either
geometrical or floral motifs in mottled matte glazes of brown or blue.
