    (3) Add I quart when replacing oil filter element.
    (4) Add 1 quart when equipped with heater. When car is equipped with air conditioning, use permanent-type anti-freeze,
Mobil Permazone, all year. Drain at least once a year, preferably in the spring. The system must be protected for
temperature s down to +15°F during the summer. Always use at least 20% of the permanent-type anti-freeze to insure
    adequate pro tection against corrosion.
    (5) Station Wagon - 22 gallons.

To facilitate uniformly satisfactory Mobilubrication, a single mileage has been adopted for similar units operating under
the same conditions on all cars. The recommended frequencies shown are 1000, 5000, 10,000, 15,000 and 20,000 miles.
These frequencies may sometimes vary from those shown in instruction books of various car manufacturers.

    LUBRICATION SERVICE INFORMATION
Figures and numerals printed in italics and enclosed in parenthesis, as (D-1), refer
to illustrations and descriptions appearing on the Mobilubrication Disc Chart which
are applicable to 1960 cons truction.
sion bar is hex-shaped at each end. The front end is anchored in the lower control arm while the rear end is anchored in the
engine rear support cross member. Movement of the lower control arm tends to twist the torsion bar. Front car height can be
changed by adjusting, twisting, the torsion bar at its rear end. The steering knuckle is mounted on ball joints in the upper
and lower control arms and are the only points in the front suspensión requiring lubrication, a total of four points.
sion bar is hex-shaped at each end. The front ondntrol arm is controlled by a torsion bar, rather than a coll spring. The tore
TORQUE FLITE TRANSMISSION (D-5): Standard. Check fluid level every 1000 miles. To make this check, apply the park ing
brake and push the "N" (Neutral) selector button. Idle the engine for a few minutes and then push selector buttons through all
ranges and back to "N position. Dipstick and filter hole on right side are reached from under hood. Remove all dirt from
around dipstick. The fluid level should be at the 'F' mark, or slightly below, but never above the "F" mark when the engine
is at its normal warm condition. If it is necessary to check the fluid ievel when the transmission is cold, the fluid level
should be at, or slightly below the "L' or the "Add One Pint" ma rk. Maintain level with Mobilfluid 200.
Dra in transmission every 10,000 miles or more frequently when the car is driven under any of the following condi-
tions: Police car or taxicab opera tion; Frequent towing of trailers: Frequent heavy traffic in hot weather; Continuous opera-
tion at higher than normal loading. See Mobilubrication Bulletin "Correct Lubrication of Automatic and Semi-A utomatic Trans-
missions" for complete and approved instructions.
    miles.
REAR AXLE: (D-6) (Hypoid Gears) - Clean dirt from around filler hole plug and check lubricant level every 1000 miles. Add
Tubricant as required to maintain level between bottom of filler plug hole and 1/2" below. Drain and refill at least every 10,000
Sure-Grip limited slip differential optional and can be identifled by letter "S" stamped directly after the stamped
ratio on the lower side of the carrier case. After draining, refill with Mobilube GX90.
Filler Opening and Level Gauge: Right side of drive pinion carrier.
Drain: Drain plug in bottom of housing.
POWER STEERING: (B-5) (K-3) Constant-Control type. Optional on Winds or. Standard on others. Check ol level in reser-
voir at rear of generator every 1000 miles. Before removing the reservoir cap to check the level, wipe the outside of the cap
and housing so that no dirt can fall into the reservoir. Lift off the cap but do not remove or disturb the filter element under
any circumastances. Maintain fluid level at full mark on reservoir with Mobilfluid 200. Replace cap. Fluid from reservoir
    also lubricates steering gear.
MANIFOLD HEAT CONTROL: Place a few drops of graphited keros ine on each end of shaft every 1000 miles, when exhaust
manifold is cool, to keep shaft free. If shaft becomes frozen, free it by tapping each end of the shaft lightly with a hammer.
Work valve back and forth a few times.
SPEEDOME TER: Ol tube with wick on housing above cable flange on back of speedometer. Remove oil tube with wick from
speedometer every 5,000 miles. Saturate wick with Mobiloil Arctic.
OIL FILTER: (K-1)- Full flow, screw-on filter, standard. Replace filter every 5,000 miles or more often in dusty territories
    and under cold weather operation.
AIR CLEANER: (K-2) - Dry type cleaner is standard. Remove element from its container every 1000 miles and with com-
pressed air gently blow out the dirt. The compressed air nozzle should be held about 1" from the inside screen. Under severe
dust cond itions, it may be necessary to clean the element more often. Install a new element every 10,000 miles.
CRANKCASE VENTILATOR AIR CLEANER: In oil filler pipe cap on all models. Wash element in Sovasol No. 5 and dry
thoroughly, every 1000 miles or more frequently under severe conditions. Oil element with Mobiloil A. Allow excess oll to
drain from element before replacing it.
POWER BRAKES: Optional on Windsor. Standard on others.
    AIR CONDITIONING: Optional.
