This auction is for 3 pounds of Red Wine infused French Oak barrel Stave pieces. These pieces are cut from Red Wine barrel staves and are perfect for BBQ Smoking, small fires, and rapid jar aging of alcohol. It can also be charred and put into whiskey barrels to add a different flavor. French Oak is a very dense wood and is difficult to cut/chip. It is sold by weight, not by volume. 3 pounds of staves cut to fit into the shipping package. They will vary in size from about 2" to 8" long in length to reach the weight.
The wood is clean, pesticide/chemical and bug free. There are no toxins in the French Oak wood and it can be used for heat and food/drink. It comes from single use French Oak barrels that were used to age wine. They have nice color and red wine infusion into the wood. The wood has an amazing smell when cutting or burning.
