    Description

    This listing is for an circa 1945 Roseville Freesia pattern handled ewer. The ewer measures just slightly under 15 3/4" high and is 5 1/2" in diameter at the base. Freesia is a popular late period pattern introduced by Roseville Pottery in 1945. The standard colors are blue, brown and green. They were decorated with wavy lines and protruding Freesia flowers and leaves. Freesia was marked with the raised Roseville USA script mark, shape number and size. Roseville stated there were 48 shapes, but the factory stock pages show only 47. The shapes for the Freesia pattern includes several vases, bowls, candlesticks, jardinieres, pedestals, cookie jar, tea service set, compote, window box and wall pocket. The ewer is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It is ready for your home or shop.
