  • Condition: There are a few tiny black dots. Color is a very light beige, cream color. My camera and lighting make it look yellow. The horse has a broken left front leg which has not been mended. It is just a hairline and in checking others, it looks like this is common.

    VINTAGE
    CELLULOID HORSE
    MADE IN THE U.S.A.
    This blow mold horse is not marked with a company name but was probably made by the Viscoloid Company in the 1920s as at that time, they did not mark their Celluloid toys with the company name, only Made In U.S.A. It is 3.25" tall and approximately 4" from nose to tail. The color is a creamy beige. The eyes, nose and mouth are painted on. This horse has a broken front left leg, only a crack, which has not been mended. Animals like this one were produced as toys for children, but are now commonly used for accessories for Putz villages. I also have a camel, which I will list tonight. I could ship them together if you want both of them.
