Description
Here is an excellent piece from Roseville Pottery's "Columbine" floral-accented line introduced in 1941. Roseville called the background color on this one "Red", but it is actually pink on the interior, and a dusty rose on the exterior, which fades into green on the bottom. This bowl is accented with strands of columbine with a pink blossom on each side, with two angled handles.Shape # 401-6". Here the 6" refers to the interior diameter of the bowl. It is about 8.25" wide handle to handle, and about 2" tall. It has "Roseville U.S.A 401-6"" in raised relief on the bottom.
Condition: Mint, with no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no repairs! As made, there's a tiny light spot in the color on the bottom rim. It's not a rim chip, it's just a light color spot (See photo #8.)
This is a nice companion piece to the #402-8" bowl that I also have listed.
I will be listing quite a few pieces of Roseville in the coming days, and am happy to combine shipping--just let me know. I start all my listings as true {{detail_product_description}}.99 auctions. Good luck bidding!
