Description
Here is an excellent example of Roseville Pottery's "Wisteria"" floral-accented line, introduced in 1933. The lavender wisteria blossoms on each side hang from green-leafed vines against a textured background of brown, green, and yellow. This vase is shape #633-8". Here the 8" refers to the height of the vase. It is 4" wide at the rim, gradually growing to 7" at its widest. It would originally have had a foil label. It has the shape #633 in Roseville's standard orange crayon under the glaze on the bottom. .
Condition: Mint, with no chips, no cracks, and no repairs! As made, there's a small, !/8" long vertical glaze pop near the bottom (See Photo #8). Crazing visible only under magnification.
