    Description

    Basket is 4 inches in height to top of basket, 6.25 inches in height to top of handle. As noted, there is a hair-line crack in the handle which has been repaired. This has been done to provide stability to the handle, which is very delicate. Common practice should be to never carry a pottery or glass basket by the handle. There is also a tiny chip in the bottom, not visible when basket is upright. See all the photos for condition. There is one closeup of the hair-line crack and the chip is next to the Roseville sticker. Otherwise, the basket is in very good condition for a 70-year-old piece of pottery. Montacello was the spelling given by Roseville; however, many folks call it "Monticello."
