Rare Vintage Pierrot Harlequin Clown Celluloid Baby's Rattle

Description

This very rare celluloid baby's rattle is probably from the 1930s or
1940s and features the Harlequin clown figure Pierrot strumming a
guitar and singing.  The rattle measures about 6 1/2" high and has the
beads or beans still inside so it still makes a great rattling sound!
Most of the paint is good but some of it has faded and worn from age (see
photos) and there's a bit of dirt. This came straight out of a house
and we haven't touched it. No dents or holes. Seams are good. I have
not found this particular baby's rattle anywhere online and believe it
to be rare, especially since something this old and fragile and
originally intended for a child to play with normally would not have
lasted this long in such good condition!
