Description
Circa 1935, this Roseville Pottery Blue Velmoss II vase, shape number 714-6, stands 6.25" tall and is approximately 4" in diameter. Having two triangular shaped handles, it is finished in a very pretty mottled blue and is decorated with white buds and green leaves. In factory original condition, as pictured, there are two factory glaze misses at the rim. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. This is shape number 714, however in red crayon on the base is "614" and the same shape can be seen on page 248 in Introducing Roseville Pottery by Mark Bassett. A great Roseville Velmoss vase to add to your pottery collection.
