ROSEVILLE POTTERY COSMOS WALL POCKET SHAPE 1286-8"

Description

Circa 1930's, this Roseville Pottery Cosmos Wall Pocket, shape number 1286-8", is approximately 8.75" long, 5.25" wide at the top, and is 2.25" deep. Finished in an overall blue background glaze, it is decorated with white and purple flowers, vines, and leaves. Large open handles, one hole to hang from, there has been restoration to the top handle. Marks include on the back "Roseville" and "1286-8" and similarly decorated shapes can be seen on page 78 and 79 in Introducing Roseville Pottery by Mark Bassett.
