ROSEVILLE POTTERY FUTURA VASE "BEEHIVE" SHAPE NUMBER 406-8"

Description

Circa 1920's, this Roseville Pottery Futura vase, shape number 406-8", stands almost 8.5" tall, has a rim opening of 2" (inside rim to rim), and is 6" in diameter. Nicknamed the "Beehive", it is beautifully finished in a feathered goldish brown glaze, and decorated with large, drippy green-blue leaves that are attached to vines. In factory original condition, there are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Faintly marked on the base in red crayon "406", the same shape can be seen on page 155 in Roseville In All Its Splendor. A very nice Roseville Futura vase to add to your pottery collection.
