Description
Circa 1920's, this Roseville Pottery Imperial II vase, shape number 474-7, stands 7" tall, has a rim opening of 3.5" across, and is approximately 8" in diameter. The blending of the glazes on this vase is outstanding and is thickly textured all around. Yellow musical notes at the rim, the colors are various shades of turquoise, lighter blue, green with a complementary green glaze on the interior. Unmarked, there are indecipherable red crayon marks on the base and the same shape can be seen on page 182 in Roseville In All Its Splendor. In factory original condition, there are no cracks, chips, hairlines, or repairs. This vase is a fantastic example of Roseville's Imperial II pattern and will make a great addition to your Arts and Crafts, Mission, or Modern pottery collection.
