Description
Circa early 1900's, this Roseville Pottery Juvenile Ware plate, shape number 9, is approximately 8.75" across and stands 1" high. It is a divided plate and within each section it is decorated with a pig, duck, chick, cat and rabbit. The decals have retained good color and the yellow band is outlined in black. Overall crazing, minor paint loss on the band, as pictured, there is an old repair underneath the pig. This plate is in otherwise great condition. Marks include on the back "RV" and "9" and the same shape can be seen on page 198 in Roseville In All Its Splendor. A very nice and rarely seen Roseville Juvenile plate to add to your pottery collection.
