Description
Here's a really nice ROSEVILLE POTTERY planter in matt green and actually illustrated in the Huxford EARLY ROSEVILLE catalog as shape #213. This is a hexagonal small planter measuring 3-1/2" (with insert) and max and min dimensions across the hex shape of 4-1/2" and 3-3/4." The edges of the hex shape are formed as buttresses which run to the base and form 6 feet around the base perimeter. Each face has an embossed arts/crafts design of a half circle with three vertical stripes. Both pieces are in factory mint condition, but with a couple minor factory flaws. On the under rim of the insert is a line of tiny glaze bubbles encircling the rim (photo 4). On the interior base of the planter there is an extraneous raised piece of clay, partially glazed, but with a skip at the top (photo 5). Neither affect the piece functionally in any way and are generally unseen. The matt green glaze covers the entire base. No markings whatever, but well documented in the catalog down to the exact size. Small but outstanding arts and craft piece.Prior to bidding, please read below the information on payment, return policy and on on international shipping.
