Description

You're looking at a nice smudge-free laser reprint of a neat old Stickney catalog/manual. This booklet steps you through the current (at the time) line of Stickney engines, & it walks you through the Stickney factory, room by room, by highly detailed color prints.
Stickney engines were made by the "Charles A. Stickney Company" in St. Paul, Minn & were a unique but popular engine design in the early 1900's. This booklet highlights some of their features through words, diagrams & detailed illustrations.
The booklet shows 30 high-quality color pictures from inside the Stickney engine factory, along with 29 more highly-detailed prints & cutaways of various sizes & styles of Stickney engines, both stationary & portable.
This booklet starts out showing the president of the company "Mr. Charles A. Stickney, designer of the Stickney engines" sitting at his desk, & the pictures show everything from the Stickney Company offices to various rooms in the factory, & many engine patterns, core boxes, etc. in the Stickney foundry. This booklet shows a lot of the machining steps & the machines used to manufacture the Stickney engines, along with the people that ran these machines.
This booklet shows the stock rooms, finishing rooms, testing rooms, & shipping rooms of the Stickney engines. It also shows a picture of the power room in the Stickney Company that once powered the factory.  33 pages, each page measures 9" x 6" professionally printed on standard smudge-free gloss paper.
This is a nice reprint of a neat old interesting booklet I thought needed shared.
