ULTRA-RARE 1960's Fitted Mobil Oil Indy 500 Race Hat Size 7 1/8 Slightly Worn

We especially dig things from the Olden Days when Made in the USA was taken for granted. Summertime racing season is here! This is a rare vintage Mobil Oil hat from way back in the 1960's. This hat was part of a collection of NOS (new old stock) hats we acquired from the estate of a longtime Ford Motors employee who likewise had a professional affiliation with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, but unlike the other hats in this collection this one appears to have been worn. It is still in excellent overall vintage condition, but there's discoloration throughout to the original off-white shade, as can be seen in the pictures. The tag is also missing, but we've determined it to be a size 7 1/8 by comparing it to another of the same hat that does still have the tag; we were able to get our hands on two of these, and have this one priced slightly lower than the unworn one because it has been worn. The bill is slightly oversized relative to todays hats, giving it an awesome retro look, and has two slight creases.

We ship every other day through USPS, mostly through Priority or Parcel, but for LPs, books, DVDs and other eligible items we also offer Media Mail.

If payment is made before noon Midwest time, we will do everything we can to ship that very same day. RETURNS: In the unlikely event a refund needs to be requested, we reserve the right to issue a full refund upon return or no refund at all;
absolutely no partial refunds will be given!
