    Description

    You are bidding on a vintage brass ship's insignia / plaque of the USS Spadefish, SSN 668. The Spadefish was a nuclear powered attack submarine of the Sturgeon Class. Emblem was casted by the ship's builder, Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company and presented to a plankowner. Nice original condition; expertly mounted to a mahogany(?) wood plaque. Ready to hang on a wall. Two issues to point out: the nameplate below the brass emblem has been removed
    and the wood finish is marred and on the center right side lower edge of the wood, there is a small indentation. Neither of these detract significantly.
