Vintage 1920s French Navy Sailor Doll Celluloid Felt w/Red Pom Pom Liberte Tam 7.75"
This beautiful doll is in Very Good condition - please note that the tip of his left thumb is chipped - see last photo for best view of this tiny flaw.
He stands 7.75" including his tam hat. He wears the red pom pom for good luck. The hat says "Liberte" on it.
He is highly detailed with his clothing made of felt, including his shoes.
He is made of celluloid including his arms and legs and body which are all hard. His arms and legs move but do not hold their pose.
He's very unique and dear, and would be a great addition to your collection. Dates to the 1920's.
