    Description

    Up for sale is a vintage 1942 Gargoyle Compound No.3 Socony tool oil tag.  On it is "Fill with Gargoyle Compound No. 3. A Socony Vacuum Product"  "Snyder Tool & Engineering Co. -  Detroit, Michigan,  U.S.A."  It is a painted metal tag in great condition.  For its age, it does not look used.  In the lower right corner is WG-42.  It could have been WWII related.
    It measures 2 inches long and 1.5 inches high.
