FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VINTAGE 1951 "ASK HERE FOR MOBIL MOBILOIL SOCONY VACUUM" 11 3/4" BY 11 3/4" HEAVY (OVER 1 POUND, 6 OUNCES)
PORCELAIN SHIELD SHAPED GASOLINE & OIL PUMP PLATE ADVERTISING SIGN. THIS SIGN HAS FANTASTIC GRAPHICS OF THE FLYING RED PEGASUS HORSE ON A QUART CAN OF MOBILOIL AS WELL AS A MOBILOIL MACHINE WITH RACK OF OIL CANS. THIS SIGN IS MARKED: I.R. 51 AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT WHICH I AM TOLD MEANS INGRAM RICHARDSON (A SIGN MAKER) AND 51 BEING THE YEAR OR FORM NUMBER. THIS SIGN SHOWS ONLY VERY LIGHT WEAR AND DISPLAYS WELL WITH GREAT GLOSS AND A GORGEOUS PEGASUS AND GARGOYLE GRAPHICS WHICH IS QUITE RARE ON THE SAME PIECE! THIS SIGN HAS ALL 4 ORIGINAL SILVER GROMMETS IN-TACKED.
