Vintage Green Roseville Pinecone Vase 748-6 Mint Art Deco 1931

Description

This auction is for a gorgeous 1931 Green 6-inch Pinecone vase in mint condition.
There is no damage or repairs.
Roseville Pinecone is highly sought after, and all of the colors are magnificent.
This vase is marked Roseville 748-6 in relief (raised letters and numbers).
The Pinecone pattern is believed to be the savior of the company in the 1930’s when lots of businesses closed their doors for good.
Its design has handles in the form of branches joined to a pinecone with green pine needles protruding from the cone.
This piece was embossed and decorated by hand.
Then dipped in a matt glaze.
This vase is an outstanding piece of American Art Pottery that is attributed to the Art Deco era.
