Description

Amazing glaze! How did they do it? Montacello cabinet vase #556-5. Measures 5.25” x 4.25” at the widest spots. Some pencil-like silver mark and black marks like grease pencil. No chips, cracks or repairs noted under careful scrutiny and excellent lighting. Glaze pop (near bottom) left an uncolored spot, pinholes, “pimples” and excess glaze in spots (interior has a line that didn’t get smoothed out) as expected from this era. All over light crazing. Could use a warm bath and a scrub. Sold in “as found” condition.
