Yet another beautiful piece of Roseville from an outstanding local collector, this one is a Mostique Low Bowl with the rare Leaf pattern, as some refer to as the "upside down heart" pattern. It is marked on the bottom (I believe??) 70-7". The opening measures about 7 1/2" across and the outer diameter about 9 1/2", and it stands about 3 1/2". Let the pictures show you the condition, I call it near mint! No damage whatsoever; no chips, cracks, or other eye sores, and the colors are brilliant! It does show a tad use or age-related wear on the inside, but considering a hundred years, wow! Seriously, in my 45+ years of dealing in vintage and antique items, it's one of the nicest pieces I have seen, in any name! The previous owner had a great eye, and what makes many of the items from her estate so special, she kept about 80% of her collection in the garage, in boxes!
